Howdy, a year break and no post, and actually even longer not much of content – of course that is bad and I have to apologize for this.

In 2023 we suffered a severe ransomware attack and in 2024/2025 I focused on a very big private project of building a new energy wise mostly independent house and making the previous home sales ready.

The fallout of the ransomware is actually survived and delivered some deep operational insights which I actually want to share here – you may have noticed something in talks and publications – and the private projects are so far implemented that I actually can start musing about this again.

So bottom line I hope that I can relaunch here properly and supply you with new technical insights, exciting experiences and adventurous travel impressions. Technical highlights are a lot in the making with experiences in resilient infrastructure, backup and how its overrated, IT automation, OT integration, monitoring and home grown AI. … There is a lot.
